Teligent Telecom has been selected as the provider of IN and messaging infrastructure to XOX, the first fully convergent mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) in south-east Asia. XOX has chosen a complete convergent charging system to manage real-time rating and charging for both prepaid and postpaid subscribers.

XOX is based in Malaysia and is a fast-growing regional MVNO operator with appr. 100.000 mobile clients. XOX redefines convergence in mobile services and provides the users with multiple channels of seamless accessibility to their mobile and web services.

For an operator, managing charging services for combinations of different subscription models is normally a cumbersome task, unless two different systems are used for prepaid and postpaid customers. The Teligent solution makes it possible for XOX to manage both prepaid and postpaid subscription charging in one single system.

The system is based on the Teligent P90/E platform and includes functions for systems control point (SCP), IP voice recording (IVR/IP), voucher management, SMS Center as well as web provisioning and systems management.

The system integrator partner Computaris has delivered infrastructure from Teligent Telecom and Highdeal and the system is turn-key delivered and installed at XOX's premises.
